Texas state inspection

All vehicles registered in Texas are required to receive the annual inspection, in some counties vehicles are required to have an additional safety inspection. Diesel-powered vehicles and motorcycles are excused from emission standards, but they must require an annual safety inspection. During Texas state inspection inspectors check the vehicle’s operation, visibility, horns, wipers, mirrors, seat belt, brake system, etc. The state of Texas takes road safety very seriously; if you need to register a new vehicle or renew the registration of an existing vehicle you must pass inspection within 90 day period.
